Dusit Beach is a 3-star hotel at best, with best being when everything was brand new or freshly renovated. Since then it seems the minimal amount of maintenance and cleaning has been performed. The bathroom sink and tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or sanitized in years. The sink was clogged and at times started filling with backed up water from the pipes. I ended up using the tub faucet for everything. The shower had mold in the corners and the shower curtain, even the hairdryer bag was covered in mold. The a/c vent was covered in dust and yellow water trails led down the walls. Room included unbranded toiletries, stained and crispy waffle robes, and a dirty electric kettle. Plenty of hotels within a half kilometer so location is hardly a selling point. My room had a connecting door and I could hear everything in the adjoining room. Fortunately, the bedsheets and the towels were clean, and the a/c cooled the room just fine. The blackout window shades were effective but unnecessary and I would have gladly traded it for a clean bathroom. I’d recommend packing cleaning supplies, allergy medicine for the mold, and earplugs if you plan on staying here.

Many hotels in the same area but definitely the Dusit Beach Resort is the best option for his beach and the guest experience. I was upgraded to club room with access to the lounge. Renovated room, high floor, great view ; what else do u need ? Thanks to David the GM, Jerald the assistant front office and the entire team for making my short holidays a memorable stay.
