The Luang Say Residence is a beautiful hotel with old French colonial style. The room was very large and beautiful with a big verandah. The hotel grounds and pool is also grand and lovely. |The hotel is not far from the main centre and a welcome retreat at the end of each day after sightseeing and other activities. One of the highlights in the late afternoon was to laze by the pool with a cocktail or beer. |The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and this was a memorable experience and the food excellent. |This is a very unique hotel in and I would highly recommend to everyone.
Excellent hotel, still retains that old world French colonial down at the heels but perfectly well kept feel to it. Not taken over by the big luxury chains so it retains its own personal charms. Rooms take you back a century to a different time, very laid back feel, breakfasts were excellent and individually prepared. Don't miss the eggs Benedict, best I've had.
