Rooms have been modernised with walk in shower and everything that is required. Queen size room had Coffee machine, Kettle, seating area, desk and balconies with great views over Riga. Only a 5 minute walk to the old town. Various hot and cold buffet food available for breakfast. Great location to stay in Latvia if you plan to use as a base to explore or for business.

Old hotel, not renovated, once maybe very luxurious, cold, no ventilation in the room, horrible bathroom, no SPA even though it was advertised. But with a very good location and good breakfast. If you get a room with a view of the river and the old town, it is very nice.
