We had an excellent stay here. The room was very well appointed and the housekeeping team kept the room immaculately clean. The facilities are first class, there is an excellent roof top infinity pool, which is a calm oasis, serving food and drinks from 7am. The asian restaurant in the lower ground serves really good sushi and sashimi and authentic asian dishes such as you would expect in Zuma, maybe not quite up to Zuma';s level, but pretty close. The main restaurant on the ground floor serves breakfast lunch and dinner, each evening with a different theme, Italian, French, Mauritian etc. The evening meal starts with a buffet, and then a choice of main courses and desserts. The food is exceptionally good, and includes a really good selection of home-baked breads, and a splendid selection of cheese. It takes real restraint not to over-indulge. The hotel boasts a number of swimming pools all of them super clean. The maintenance team do a really good job. One minor complaint would be that the poolside cushions need replacing. The beach is beautifully sandy, if a little small, however, there is full service on the beach for food and drinks, and the beach was never too busy as the hotel pools offer such a good environment. The sea is warm and calm with small fish swimming around - wonderful - just what you want on a tropical island. The staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient and a big shout goes to the team in the lobby coffee bar, who were very knowledgeable about the various coffees and coffee combinations, and were super friendly. The General Manager Nicholas Messian was ever present speaking to all the guests, there is no doubt his infectious enthusiasm for the hotel enthuses all the staff. We left very happy and will return in the future.
