Life of a king and queen! Had a fabulous time at Solaz and I’ll always remember the impeccable service and such unique detailed design / engineering of this resort. Man everything from such unique faucets, to gorgeous overhead architecture, to the gardening, to the small finishes - this resort is so lovely. And the service is also one to always remember, there wasn’t a moment where you feel unattended to, I was literally having dinner, dropped a hair clip, and a waiter picked it up for me before I was able to wiggle my way out my chair, they are so attentive and kind! I highly recommend coming to Solaz, their service cannot be compared and I have stayed at so many high end hotels all over the world. Also if you’re on edge of where to stay in Cabo, I stayed in San Jose’s JW Marriott, visited Cabo San Lucas city, San Jose city, and Solaz and I can attest that Solaz is where you want to spend all of your time. I also need to give a shout-out to our Artisan (Butler) Raul, Carlos (Waiter at Al Pairo), and Sarahi (Sales rep). Raul really did make our stay easy, comfortable, and he’s such a sweetheart that we were happy he was assigned to us. Raul took us around the property on the golf cart, he was always on time, and so quick to get a hold of for anything we had questions with. Sarahi the sales rep gave such a perfect, seamless sales pitch for the Solaz Club that I’ll always remember it for personal work purposes. Regarding the TIMESHARE aka Solaz Club - we were approached to attend the club’s presentation in exchange for 15% off at one of the hotels restaurants. We said OK as we didn’t mind hearing what the timeshare program offered. We unfortunately spent 3 hours for this sales pitch. Sarahi showed us the property and gave a fabulous presentation, showing us a few units and the program basics. Later we spoke with Mario and Hugo, the big bosses that’s able to make better deals, while they had some better news to offer, I did not appreciate them further pursuing a business deal and cutting more deals with me after I already said no, that I’m not making investment decisions in the matter of minutes, that I need to think about it, that it’s my birthday and I have now spent 3 hours doing math listening how I can invest in Solaz. To me it’s inconsiderate and lacks flexibility for you to think about this and get back to them later when say, you’re done with your vacation. Also from reading other folks reviews on who invested into the property, it doesn’t look like it worked well for them? As a Bonvoy titanium member, the Solaz Club program is a program specific to this property and is not affiliated with Marriott. I don’t think it looks good for Marriott to not have this clarified as we are staying here because of Marriott but detouring several hours of our stay to leave the Marriott experience. For those investors / guests: there’s 3 towers on the right side of the property which are the residences. The remaining of the property is 1/3rd the Marriott resort guests and 2/3rd the Solaz Club participants. When I was here it was during low occupancy of about 30% so a relatively quiet peaceful stay. I highly recommend Solaz, but manage your time if you choose to attend the timeshare sales pitch and be aware it’s not Marriott affiliated. Their infinity pool are gorgeous and the gym had an outdoor section in the shade which was perfect. Having an Artisian was such a special experience and I wish all hotels were like this! Solaz - oh yes I forget to mention - the room had everything BUT 1) a full body mirror and 2) usb chargers on one side of the bed

Flying solo now as my wife recently passed. May seems very slow there. You need to be aware that this is a timeshare focused location ...... but they leave single men alone ..... need the crying woman to seal the deal. Food is OVER THE TOP expensive and not worth value. Salmon at one outlet was $100. I also hate the "tip pyramid" they assigned a "butler" but all they do is redirect requests and want a larger tip. If you ask for ice, water replacements, and coffee replacements, it comes in 3 waves and then followed by butler overview. 4 bucks. Overall a boring and expensive place. Nowhere to walk. I am a swimmer so the 3 50-meter infinity pools were nice!!! Gym decent. Staff that wipes up ever sweat you may drop on ground due to shear boredom. I actually hate that ... I use a piece if equipment for 15 minutes and they spend 20 minutes cleaning it. I will never go back there. I like Grand Solmar Lands End and walking to downtown.
