I went to Cusco for the New Year and stayed at this beautiful hotel. The reception is stunning and all the decorations were calm and soothing. I previously checked in using the Marriott Bonvoy App. The staff at the reception desk was very helpful. I had some trouble to activate the digital key in my iPhone and it didn’t worked properly during my stay. |The breakfast Buffet was very good. Lots of choices, and Egg Station, the smoothies were great and the espresso superb, because of the quality of the coffee from the Cusco region. There was a variety of good bread, tamales, chicharron (pork) and you can have it at the garden or in another seating area that was very nice.|The garden inside the Convent is a very and beautiful space, it has paintings on the ancient walls and you can also take some e pictures with Panchita, a beautiful white Alpaca that a very nice lady brings to visit the Hotel.|I reserved the Deluxe King Size Room. Very tranquil and always with the right temperature. The toiletries are from the Aromatherapy Associates that were very relaxing, specially in the tub after a very agitated day in Cusco. The only thing that I didn’t like about the room is that it has the sink outside the bathroom, which I find it uncomfortable. Everything else was very nice.|The Spa is beautiful and it has different treatments and prices which can be expensive at the top and full version, but it is a must when you’re visiting the city and all the surrounding ruins and Machu Picchu. Your body will thank you for that. |The Qespi restaurant is ok. The food is nice but more options in their a la carte menu would be desirable. |The bar is a very fine place and the drinks very nice.|After the New Year’s celebration and all the food and drinks I had, I wasn’t feeling very well next day, so I had a delicious chicken soup at the Qespi restaurant that brought me back to my senses. I have to mention Ms.Alexandra who was in charge, she was so kind and the next day, at breakfast she went to our table to ask me If I was ok and if there was anything that the staff could do for me. That was very nice and thoughtful and it shows the attention to details and an exceptional service.|I certainly will make this hotel my place to stay, every time I visit Cusco again.
This hotel was amazing. The rooms, courtyard, pool, and location were perfect. It also included one of the best breakfast buffets we've had. We stayed here before and after doing a self-guided Ausangate Circuit. The front desk staff helped us book private transportation to and from our start and finish points. I don't know how we could have done this trek without their help. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Cusco.
