The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure our stay was enjoyable. The location of the hotel is ideal for seeing the sites on the northern side of the island, and convenient for exploring the restaurants in Apia. The breakfast included in our rate was quality. I loved how spacious our bungalow suite was, as well as how removed it was from the most of the other rooms. The pools were great to lounge by and the pool bar staff were great. The gym equipment was all new and they had the essentials for keeping in shape while on holiday. Finally, it was such a luxury having free and fast wifi available, something that's not very common on the island (including at other resorts). I would definitely stay here again in the future.
The newly refurbished hotel has lots of potential . My bungalow was beautiful a luxury room with a Samoan flavour. The staff on the whole were lovely It's the general facilitates that really lacked as it was too new even though it had opened in August No gym, no spa No pool bar A poool that was falling apart. Lots of tiles missing Room service that ends at 9pm at night A cafe that sales overpriced food that looks like it's been in the cabinet for days. An overpriced feast restaurant with hardly any guests A luxury restaurant with no guests in it. The tour Desk was beyond terrible the brochure given said tours were daily. They weren't ! It was really expensive. I had a wonderful tour with a local taxi. It was great . Saved me lots and was brilliant Worst thing with the tour desk I booked my airport shuttle through them they forgot to book it so I had to wait over an hour for the next one to turn up . I did have a relaxing time but it's got a lot to be done to bring it to basic Sheraton service standards
