European Airlines with Pet Weight Limits Below 8kg

When traveling with pets in the cabin across Europe, most airlines offer a standard weight limit of 8kg, including the carrier. However, a few airlines have set their weight limits lower than this threshold. It's crucial for pet owners to be aware of these restrictions to avoid complications during their travel plans.

Airlines such as Air Dilijans, British Airways (specifically on SUN-AIR operated flights within Europe), chair, Helvetic Airways, and Twin Jet enforce weight limits for pets in the cabin that are less than the typical 8kg

Air Dilijans permits up to 5kg, both British Airways and chair allow up to 6kg, Helvetic Airways has a 7kg limit, and Twin Jet also sets the limit at 6kg. If your pet and its carrier might exceed these limits, considering an alternative airline that accommodates the full 8kg weight limit would be a wise choice to ensure a smooth journey for both you and your furry companion.
