FESTIVALS IN THE CARIBBEAN YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IN 2022

The Caribbean has many islands that most people include on their bucket list, and the reasons are obvious.

FESTIVALS IN THE CARIBBEAN YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IN 2022

Let's dive into the sweet waters of the Caribbean…

Nevis

View of the Nevis Peak volcano from a swimming pool in Christopher Harbour, St Kitts, the Caribbean

The island where all your troubles will disappear. If blue skies, clean air, and empty beaches are your thing, you should definitely consider staying in Nevis. The island is located just below St. Kitts and is one of the most unspoiled in the Caribbean. Its unique nature and untouristy vibe will allow you to feel the local Caribbean experience.

We offer visiting from late April to early June since this time will guarantee lower rates & quiet escape. In addition, you'll find plenty of activities: from hiking to sunbathing, from biking to sailing with a yacht.

Visit from November to January to experience one of the island's most significant events - St Kitts & Nevis National Carnival or, in other words, Sugar Mas. It takes place annually between Christmas and New Year. What's better than spending the holiday season in the Caribbean? Colorful costumes, street parties, and various activities - you'll see the other side of the relaxing island.

Visit in July for the Nevis Culturama Festival. To be more precise, it happens on the last weekend of July and features pop, jazz, and reggae music, amongst other styles. Parades and street dancing are also a part of it. Just get the tickets at least a few months before - people tend to grab them early.

Here’s an option for a week in November:

Grenada

Saint George's town, capital of Grenada island, Caribbean region of Lesser Antilles

The reason this island is on this list is simple: its incredible beaches. Besides that, Grenada is one of the safest Caribbean islands. Proud of spectacular waterfalls and the world's first underwater sculpture park, it will keep you busy and entertained while you're there - whether it's 3 days or 2 weeks.

Grenada target groups: chocolate & rum lovers! The island is known for its enormous chocolate production & some of the best rum punch mixes on the planet.

Visit in May to participate in Grenada Chocolate Fest 2022. It will take place from May 13th to 18th, and you'll experience the most chocolatey adventure of your lifetime: learning about local chocolate culture, making chocolate, taking baths in chocolate (pretty much), and eating chocolate. So you're already in, right?

Visit in July - August to participate in the Spice Mas carnival. It usually comes to life in the second week of August, but the island is preparing from the very beginning of July. So if you're looking for a lively and fun vacation - you must visit Grenada this time of year. Get ready for unique costumes, loud traditional music, street dancing, and various competitions. Remember that everybody's down for a bit of a party that time, and it's the peak season.

Trinidad & Tobago

Parlatuvier Bay in Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean

It's the island where limbo was founded. Is that enough to persuade you Trinidad & Tobago is worth visiting? The paradox is - even though it's the wealthiest and most developed country in the Caribbean, it's also sometimes a bit forgotten. For no reason: like most islands, it offers spectacular scenery, exceptional wildlife, and friendly locals.

We offer visiting from January to May - you'll get the clear skies and be sure that you're not caught in the rainy season.

Visit at the end of February to see the Trinidad & Tobago carnival. It's the most famous street carnival in the world! You'll find some of the best Caribbean music, events, and parties. We know it's already too late for this one, but it was still with some COVID restrictions so you wouldn’t have gotten the full image. Nevertheless, you should experience it next year!
