The Most Unbelievable Space Tours You Can Book

Sometimes it is so hard to concentrate and follow daily routines that the only thing you can do is only to send the application for a vacation to the HR department. You might get stressed not for waiting for HR's confirmation but while choosing what kind of vacation you want to have. The travel market is full of basically everything: eco-tourism, beach tourism, medical tourism, wildlife tourism, cultural tourism, and even space tourism. Yes, you got me right. You can book a space trip when bent out of shape.

The Most Unbelievable Space Tours You Can Book

With the first all-civilian space flight proceeded by SpaceX in 2021 and the billionaire's space race led by Elon Musk (SpaceX), Jezz Bezos (Blue Origin), and Richard Branson (Virgin Galactic) - space tourism will soon have so much to offer. Let's start by knowing what kind of space trip you can can wait for.

Space Viewing Ballon Flight

Soon you'll stop dreaming about taking balloon flights in Cappadocia because a unique balloon capsule will soon float passengers to space. On the 21st of February 2023, the Japanese startup company - Iwaya Giken- announced plans to launch a commercial space viewing balloon flight that wouldn't require special training so space tourism would become affordable for everyone.

The company has been working on this project since 2012. Til then, they have developed an airtight seat cabin and a balloon capable of rising up to 25 kilometers. This space balloon will reach the middle of the stratosphere! To say it simply, this space balloon will fly higher than jet planes and boasts jaw-dropping views of outer space. If you are wondering how much a space balloon flight would cost, it is 24 million yen ($180,000). Still, the CEO Iwaya said he aims to eventually lower the price to several million yen (tens of thousands of dollars). I don't know how about you, but I would love to have this space trip solo or with my loved one.

Most Anticipated Project dearMoon

I never thought that iconic "love to the moon and back" saying might turn into reality. In 202 the first all-civilian space flight operated by SpaceX showed that it would definitely launch astonishing trips around the Moon. Because why not? I bet you didn't know that only 24 people have been to the Moon, and the last time anyone was back was in 1972. Elon Musk and his team love taking challenges, especially if it is even the tiniest step to Mars colonization. Based on the SpaceX official website, the dearMoon space trip would typically last 6-7 days. It is already decided who will be the first to fly around the Moon and safely return to Earth. In the best-case scenario, SpaceX will launch the first dearMoon mission in late 2024.

Staying at Elon Musk Hotel on Mars

Although the news about Elon Musk plans to build a hotel on Mars was buzzing a few months ago, it is still relevant if we talk about space trips. However, Ratepunk team have checked all the facts & tweets so at the end it was false. Nevertheless, I am 100% that he would implement this idea of having a hotel on Mars if there were different circumstances and better human-friendly conditions on Mars. But not this time. Someday.

Sophisticated Floating Spaceport Named MS Voyager

The testing period of this beauty should start this year. MS Voyager is a cockpit tethered to a giant space balloon, and if all results of tests are positive, we will see the first MS Voyager space trip in 2024. The creators announced that the space trip with this floating spaceport would take around six hours. Even though there wasn't any news about the current status of MS Voyager development, the company claims to have sold more than one thousand tickets, one ticket costing $125 thousand

All in all, we can dream about taking a one-in-a-lifetime space trip on a space balloon or wait until Elon Musk with SpaceX launches the dearMoon to fly around the moon and return to Mother Earth. It's a pity to know that for most of us, space tours will be extremely expensive, so either you start saving money or plan a down-to-earth vacation somewhere in a remote location. For instance, there are so many remote beautiful tree houses where you can have the best retreat from all the stress, work, and industrial buzz. Just don't forget to use RatePunk
