Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

While I enjoy the comforts of a chain hotel, I tend to gravitate toward homestays or boutique properties when I travel - however, for Aruba all we wanted was easy, amenity-filled resort life which is how we landed here. This Marriott property may have changed my mind about how I will travel in the future! The service was A+, from the welcome punch while waiting in line to check in, to the room upgrade for being Gold Elite (and it being our honeymoon!), to the helpful concierge and check-in counter staff, the bartenders, etc...everyone was so great. I highly recommend this particular hotel for a few reasons: 1. The adult pool was heaven - it looks and feels so luxurious, like you're at a small boutique property, and it was much nicer than the Ritz's adult pool. 2. The location - it's on Palm Beach which has so much to do...the beach isn't as wide and white as Eagle Beach but if you're here for pool, beach, and activities, it was definitely best. But this particular hotel is toward the north end of Palm Beach so within a 5 minute walk to the right, you're basically on a private beach...and get to watch the kite surfers do their magical wind blown dance at sunset while drinking a Chill with your feet in the water...it was perfection. 3. There were always taxis outside waiting to take you anywhere you wish...and it's an easy $13-$15 and 10 minutes into downtown if you want a change of scenery from the resort. 4. Food was good - even the quesadillas through room service were delicious! But for a special night, eat at Atardi, a seafood restaurant with your feet in the sand...I am very picky about hotel restaurants and I was extremely pleased with our meal here. On the fence?
