This was my second time at an Autograph Collection hotel and compared to their first (in Helsinki) this was not up to the same level. The location is definitely a factor as it's in a narrow street and not very nice. The service was fantastic and the staff extremely nice and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable, but space could have been better utilized. There was no work desk but there was so much empty space in the bathroom I was not sure of the purpose. The bar/restaurant looked nice but I cannot comment on the quality as I was told I did not get free breakfast so I did not eat there. With so many other options in Antwerp I did not see any reason to try the bar or restaurant in the evening. Maybe they should have offered breakfast free with the room? I also want to thanks the hotel for providing umbrellas as it rained every day I was there and the umbrellas made it possible for me to go out. I may stay here if I return to Antwerp but possible that I will try another Marriot property also.

We spent the last weekend of the year at Shaphire House Antwerp, our 6th time in 2023. The experience as always was amazing, Shaphire House Antwerp is like our second home, we feel there as family, thank to the excellent and professional service provided by everyone. The checking and checkout process provided by Marco, Betty, Jessica and Peggy was just great. We were provided with a fantastic room. They are extremely professional and friendly. As regards to breakfast, Noemi is very professional and friendly as well, she always take care of us extremely well, we appreciate it very much. Last but not least, we have Catalina and Justin at the restaurant and cocktail bar, the cocktails provided by them and their service was outstanding. Thank you to all Shaphire House Antwerp family for making once more our stay memorable. We will see you again in February. Once more Happy New Year to all of you. Best regards Sarah and Jordi.
