We booked 2 rooms and were placed in the attic. |This B&B was stunning from the minute we stepped in.|The host, Bart, was amazing from start to finish. Couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and gave us loads of local info. |Breakfast was outstanding! Wasn’t expecting that at all. A selection of pastries, meats, cheeses, chocolates, a selection of specialty teas, coffee and fresh orange juice. All served at your table in the stunning dining area. |The rooms are super clean and the beds are so comfy! |I guess my only advice would be to bring a small extension cable with a few sockets. Because the stunning house has many original features this does mean there aren’t many outlets. |There was loads of room to store makeup and toiletries by the sink, which is a luxury in most hotels. |I would say, if you have mobility issues the stairs can be a challenge. As we were in the attic the 2 flights were a little bit of a struggle for me at times as I have a knee injury.|Finally the courtyard garden overlooks the canal and the location is perfect. Just a 2 minute walk to the main square and all the shops and restaurants. |We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic stay for two nights, the room was amazing, lovely huge bed with windows to the front overlooking the quiet cobbled street and to the back overlooking the B&B garden and canal. We were made to feel really welcome by Hilde and Bert. Excellent breakfast, really fresh produce and good selection. The B&B was all decorated for Christmas and is part of the Winter Gloed festival with an excellent light show. Great location, 2 minutes walk to the market place. We will be back on our next visit to Brugge. Thank you.
