First thing to say is the staff were really nice. Very friendly, kind, and helpful. Though not enough of them at times. The reception staff had to help out in the bar in the evening when it got busy, and in the morning at breakfast it seemed like there weren't enough people again to cope with the bus load of tourists all eating before they left at 7.30am. The room itself was good and bad. The main room was perfectly nice. Had obviously been recently redone and felt comfortable and pleasant. The bathrooms (separate toilet and bathroom), we're not so nice. Not exactly dirty but they didn't exactly feel clean either. Honestly both the toilet and bathroom needed to be stripped out and redone new. The hotel was kinda quirky and you could see that they were trying hard to make it a fun place for people to stay. I loved the touches here and there of personality that the staff put in. But overall the place felt quite run down. If some decent money was invested in it it could be a really lovely hotel. Right now it's just about ok. Clearly lots of things to do in warmer weather (pool, and outdoor games, and things for kids). The board games could do with an update (some classic 70s/80s original games that had seen better days). We did eat in the bar in the evening and then we had breakfast in the morning. The bar food was ok though limited in offerings and not exactly cheap. Breakfast was decent enough though we were lucky to get any as a bus load of tourists were in there before us (we came down for 7.30am when it was meant to start), and there was barely anything left. We managed to get what was left but everyone who came in after us was out of luck and had to wait for things to be restocked. All in all I would stay again, but only if (when?) it is refurbished.

First of all, don’t trust the other reviews of the hotel as those people seem to have very low standards of what a hotel should be like. Don’t trust the photos on the website either as only some of the rooms has been renovated and they still have the logo of the previous hotel company even though it’s been 5 years since Green Park took over. Stayed here for three days and from the first step in the hotel I looked forward to leave it. Weird smell in the lobby and corridors, especially the first staircase. The wall in the other staircase is about to fall out and is fixed with brackets, wouldn’t trust the construction of this hotel. The whole hotel is worn out and dirty with mold, insects and coatings. The breakfast is not worth 18€, small picking and not very tasty. The pool was dirty so I wouldn’t recommend a swim there. The only good thing about this hotel is that the staff I met was nice and pleasant. *Don’t go here*
