We are a family of four and stayed at MPM Sport for three nights during the winter holidays, using two standard double rooms. The hotel is recently renovated, carpet, tapestry, mattresses and bedding, bathrooms are all new. It was very clean and spacious, and it has a large lobby area where there is always room for friends to hang out in the idle hours. It is steps away from the gondola, includes ski equipment stores that can keep your skis overnight, and also a lift pass booth to avoid lines at the Gondola station. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was excellent, both in variety and quality, a real 5-star hotel experience. The service was overall good, but English is a real issue. It was very hard to have accurate conversations with the waiters but also some of the reception staff, and cleaning staff could only communicate with hand gestures. Still, people were friendly and helpful. The only negative experience was that my sons left their swimming trunks in the balcony overnight. The wind took them into a patio that only had access to from inside the hotel, and only through a door locked for guests. it took an effort to have the reception have someone look, and when they did, they only found one of the two trunks, although we had seen that both fell in the same area. When I asked the manager to check again, and perhaps check security cameras (not because this was an expensive item but because my son really wanted to swim), he never got back to me, even just to say they could not figure it out. A day later I asked him again and he said unfortunately they do not know what happened.
