Good location, amazing entryway, and nice rooms. Tied with Wilard Intercontinental DC for nicest IHG property Ive seen. Lost 2 stars to difficulty during check in. After over a year in europe and over 30 nights so far, only two properties (bith IHG) have had issues with my wife, me and my 1 and 2 year old sharing a room. Regent Berlin and Intercontinental Athens. Marriot and hilton brands from courtyard to ritz or Waldorf havent tried to deny me in any of the half dozen other countries we've gone so It seems to be an IHG rule. Based off trying to deny me until finally agreeing after a few phone calls making my family and sisters family stand in the lobby for 20 minutes in limbo wasnt the best start for a platinum elite member and kind of ruined the experience and I was excited to try this hotel with less than a dozen in the world.

(SORRY REGENT HOTEL THIS IS CORRECTED VERSION :)The history of the Regent Hotel Berlin can be traced back to 1780 when a town house was built in the heart of Berlin, where the famous restaurant with wine shop Luther and Wegner was located. However, the building was completely destroyed during World War II, and no remains of the original structure exist today. The Regent Hotel Berlin is a luxury hotel located in the heart of Berlin, Germany. The hotel was built in 1996 and has since become one of the most prestigious and sought-after hotels in the city. The Regent Hotel Berlin was built on the site of the former Hotel Palace, which was a popular hotel in Berlin during the 1920s and 1930s. During World War II, the The building was completely destroyed during the Second World War. Unfortunately, there are no remains of this building. It was only in 1993 that the construction of the new building in a different style was started, which opened for the first time in 1996 as Four Seasons. The building is purely a hotel building and eight years later became a Regent Hotel. The hotel was completely rebuilt, with only the original facade and entrance hall remaining from the old building. The luxurious interior of the building is in the classic Biedermeier style, reminiscent of the history of the original building. Furthermore, are equipped with a modern fitness room, various saunas and a spacious terrace on the first floor facing the inner courtyard. The hotel also has several restaurants and bars, including the Michelin-starred Fischers Fritz restaurant, which serves gourmet seafood dishes. Over the years, the Regent Hotel Berlin has hosted many high-profile guests, including heads of state, celebrities, and business leaders. The hotel has also been the location of many important events and conferences, and its elegant ballroom is a popular venue for weddings and other celebrations. In 2012, the Regent Hotel Berlin underwent a major renovation to update and modernize its facilities. The hotel's interior was redesigned, and new amenities were added, including a spa and fitness center, a rooftop terrace, and a business center. Today, the Regent Hotel Berlin remains one of the most prestigious hotels in the city, known for its luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and central location.
