The location is perfect, a few steps from Rambla however It's not that easy to find the entrance as it is inside an apartment building. You need to go in the building all the way back to the dry cleaner, turn right, take the stairs to the elevator, and go to the first floor. There is a large door, you need to ring to get in there. The hospitality of the reception varied on the person sitting there, but it was alright. Be aware that a 4 euro tourism tax need to be paid upon arrival in cash. I have stayed two nights here in two different rooms. Both of them were small, single rooms with very simple layout: bed, cupboard, table and a bathroom. It was very clean and perfect for an accommodation where you come basically only to sleep. There were some small things which need to be fixed: light in the bathroom flashes, the water in the toilet is dripping and the window handle is broken, so you can not close it properly. Also it was strange for me, that when I asked if I could leave my backpack after check out, they said they are full. From there perspective it meant that many people left their baggage on the corridor. In the end they agreed to keep my bag until 1pm (?) - when I got back on time all the other bags were still there so I really did not understand the fuss around it. Nevertheless I would stay here again, good value for money.
