Okay, I was staying at three different hotels (ME Barcelona, Monument and Alexandra Barcelona Hotel from Hilton) during my trip in Barcelona in November just to compare, and ME Barcelona wins!!! We arrived about 10nish at night at the airport and took the airport bus from the airport, and the hotel is just a minute walk from the bus station (yay!). As soon as we arrived, the hotel offered us champagne and took care of our luggages. The lovely lady (I am sorry that I forgot her name) took us to our room, and once we opened the door, we saw a cheese/meat platter waiting for us on the table (wow!) The room is beautiful and the internet works extremely well. The breakfast was amazing with almost everything you can think of, and the service was first class. We also visited the pool and the bar, and the services were simply amazing. This is perhaps the best service I have ever experienced and there were time that I felt a bit uncomfortable with the attention I was receiving once I stepped into the hotel...LOL. Everyone smiled and opened the door, and they really went beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied. The location of the hotel is right at the centre of Barcelona and you can't beat it. It is right at the middle where we could just walk around town during our stays. We were able to walk to the beach and then nap at the hotel, and then walked about out to Gothic Quarter for dinner and drinks. Will I stay at ME Barcelona again? Oh yes, this will be my first choice next time.

We cannot say enough about the great experience of staying at ME Barcelona. The location, amenities, cleanliness and staff were amazing. Very good vibe to hotel, rooms were immaculate each day with turn down service each evening. The lounge and food were also very good with outdoor patio seating and rooftop seating near pool as well through day and evening. The staff was incredible and very attentive throughout entire stay Javier Casanova was the concierge and much more. His recommendations, personal touch and character made you feel like you knew him forever. 10/10 for sure!
