Wonderful large, pleasant bedroom and large, well equipped bathroom (two sinks, large tub and walk in shower, bidet). Very good breakfast buffet with hot foods cooked to order. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Pleasant. very large lobby bar with limited food, sometimes used a waiting area for tour groups (not good). Centrally located in good area. Can walk to many shops, cafes, and a small harbor. One of our favorite hotels.

To be honest, maybe I had my hopes high because after all it is a five star hotel, but I was dissappointed. We stayed one night with my partner in the Atelier room on the fifth floor, the room was spacious, the interior was really nice in the room and the views from the room were really nice. In the room there is quite little space for your clothes to be put in the wardrobes especially if you plan to stay longer, our radiator had a broken knob hanging loose from it next to and the curtains were dusty when you moved them. Also, be aware that the room windows do not have any kind of sound proofing so especailly on high seasons (like new years) all the sounds from the streets can be heard in the room. There were ammenities in the room like bath salt, dental kit, shower cap and a sleeping mask, coffee and tea but no complimentary drinks in the fridge. The room air con is rather warm and it cannot be adjusted below 19 degrees so it was quite warm to sleep in the room. You get a nice coupon for welcome drinks but the drinks are offered from a seperate menu which was not told us before hand. The service in the Winter garden was rather slow and there was no snacks offered (unlike in some other hotel bars). The spa has a nice vibe and two saunas but the water in the relaxing pool was quite cold so it was not that enjoyable to spend time in there, also yoibhave to book your spa&sauna time before. Breakfast was lacking bacon and the staff was really impolite and unattending towards guests. Most of the time they were chatting around corners and picking up plates when there was still food on them. This happened to us and other guests multiple times. I am sorry to say but this hotel does not deliver the service, facilities or ammentities that I would expect from a five star hotel.
