Had three nights here. Lovely hotel, very relaxed atmosphere, right in the centre of London. The rooms are lovely, large rainfall shower in the bathroom, with a separate bath. Bath fills very quickly, no waiting half the day for it to fill. Tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits, hot chocolate and popcorn. Bed is extremely comfortable with soft feather pillows. Safe in room. Rooms are extremely quiet, you wouldn't think you were in the middle of London city. Great black out curtains which helps for a better sleep. Negatives: was given wrong directions through email for arrival. I was told to get off at chancery Lane which is a very long walk with luggage. I had to go into an office building for directions. Luckily reception staff in there were very helpful and advised bus down to hotel. Nearest station to hotel is actually Temple, which was also a direct line from Mile end where I got off coach. Could have been a much less stressful journey to hotel if Georgia had given correct directions in her email. However, the staff were very pleasant at reception once we got there. Only one socket beside the bed, which means lead has to drape over one person when the other is charging their phone. Apart from those two things we had a lovely stay, it is a fab hotel. Would stay again (now that I know the correct way to get there!) 🙂

Great location, staff was friendly. We booked a city king and it was a good size and the bathroom was wonderful. The courtyard was booked for private events the first few days we were there but once we were able to get out there it was very nice. The staff at the bar was hit and miss, all very nice but some say to order at the bar while others say to sit and they will come to you. However unless you go to the bar, service is slow. Air con doesn’t cool down very quickly and doesn’t seem to stay on long if it comes on at all. We opened the windows when we could but there was in office building opposite us so we had to keep the shades mostly down and the breeze kept clashing them against the window. Also because the window was in an alley, is could get quite noisy in the AM with the sounds of trash/bottles, ect. A minor inconvenience for myself but it was a major draw back for my partner because he gets hot easily so the room wasn’t comfortable for him. We told the desk about the air con and they said they would have someone up, but no one ever came. The fire alarm at the offices opposite our window went off for about 20 minutes at about 6:30 am on the Monday bank holiday. I know nothing the hotel can do but they did say it happens on every bank holiday so just something to keep in mind. All in all a good stay, I would visit again but I think my partner would want to try another hotel.
