This is a real gem. The location is stunning and the hotel itself is perched over a bay in the old town, with access to a small private entrance to the sea. A limited number of rooms means that this is a quiet hotel. The best thing was the service and all the staff that was just wonderful. The information about the town, about the way of life and the local perspective just made our stay so much better. We really liked each member of the staff and look forward at seeing them again in the future.
My husband and I just spent 10 days here as part of our Silver Wedding Anniversary celebrations and it did not disappoint. Spiros and his team were so friendly and helpful and made us feel part of the family. The hotel is a renovated 19th Century merchant’s house and whilst it has old world charm, it is also immaculately clean. We had a sea view room with its own balcony and we made full use of it. I would describe the Apollonian Palace as a lovely guest house/ town hotel. It has a fantastic location and you can walk everywhere to cafes/ bars, the harbour and shops. A very good breakfast is available at the hotel but we also frequented bakeries and cafes as there was so much choice. Spiros recommended restaurants, sites to see, beaches etc and made reservations for us. We were very well looked after. We are looking forward to coming back to stay at the hotel with our adult children.
