I’m impressed with the improvements from 2018 to current. I’ve stayed here a few times since 2018 and I am completely satisfied with the service provided this time around. ||Our check-in attendant, Shania moved us along the progress with such ease and thanked us for being Bonvoy members.||The room has all the qualities one would expect at a 5 star hotel.||The gym has all the necessary and quite updated equipment. I was totally impressed with the ladies locker room and how well it was maintained (similar to Lifetime gym in the US).||The staff at the restaurant in the lobby were all very pleasant. Our waitress this morning was Alicia C - she delivered superior service with a smile. She recognized we were Bonvoy members and thanked us for our loyalty. On our previous visit this was not even mentioned so that’s a move in the right direction - Marriott loyalty customers are being acknowledged. The folks behind the omelet counter, etc were very helpful and pleasant. I greatly appreciate the juice bar!||The quality of the food and the selection was on par - a good selection of American and local dishes.||What’s lacking? ||A full bar in the lobby. There’s a bar but not fully stocked. Although the bartenders are great, they do not have the tools to demonstrate their greatness. They work with their limited supplies to create cocktails and that is not fair to them nor the customers.||Will I be back? Yes, most definitely!
I am left speechless for words at how wonderful the floor supervisor was to my husband and I when we went for dinner. I must mention his name “ARCHER” he’s a middle age man that was so KIND, warm and welcome. I am just dumbfounded for words of how special he treated us. This guy definitely deserves staff of the month because I’ve never had such a wonderful experience from any waiter/ waitress at ANY RESTAURANT in Guyana. He deserves a pay raise. Archer had definitely made me choose the Marriott’s for my favorite place to dine. Thank you so much Archer! The food was also delicious and wonderful. Apart from customer service the food was a plus. I will visit you guys again more often.
