Spent about four days here during Nyepi back in March. Was a great environment for that. Prices for stuff here were a little spendy, but I'm on vacation so that's the least of my worries. Staff was alright. They weren't always super attentive at the restaurants, and on Nyepi their card processor was down and I didn't have enough cash and acted like I was going to dine and dash or something. My only complaints is how far it is to get from your room to the pools or restaurants here, and the gym was under construction. Other than that it is a great little hotel away from everyone! People complaining about the distance to anything should have realized the location before booking. I also had no problem arriving with my own driver, and having my driver also pick me back up here like others have experienced.

Stayed in the pool villa. Overall is amazing, your own private pool, jungle view and spacious room for your exotic experience.BUT it’s not a 5 start hotel at all. First of all, I asked for the knife to cut fruits they refused and then I had to pay money to let them cut my own fruits cuz they can’t bring the knife ( payed per fruit btw)😅 Then pool is very cold, if the weather is cloudy you won’t be able to swim comfortably and might as well waste your expensive vacation The service is very slow and I’d say doesn’t exist..no one welcomes you at the hotel pool or pool bar and offers you a towel , you have to find someone and ask for it The hotel has 2 pools and once again its pointless cuz both of them have freezing cold water. The only good thing there is a mini pool with semi warm water that you can handle at least I see many of you complain about the location, but it’s a nice hideaway if you want to relax around nature, juts it’s wrong and ridiculous from the hotel side to let guests pay for the hotel transfer to the nearest supermarket , at least make it free of charge for the guests to be able to move around freely Oh btw, to enter steam & sauna spa you have to pay additional! 5 star hotels always provide free access to these facilities, I was shocked when they said it costs money The gym is sooooo dusty, never been cleaned, smelled like sweat. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t care about the gym hygiene Food was good Beds are clean Too many mistakes for a “5 star” hotel. Need big improvements
