It’s a beautiful property, which bumps up the review to 4 stars for me. You cannot beat that view between the Pitons. Great beach area (though I was disappointed to hear the sand is not natural and was imported). Everything else was a little underwhelming. The staff often seem on island time and can be inattentive. It’s not a very walkable resort (you can, but it’s a workout!) so you’re often found at the whim of the shuttle drivers. You could wait 10 seconds or 15 minutes. I wish the resort had pedestrian paths to cut through to the terrace and pool areas. Restaurant prices, like all of St. Lucia, are insane. Even there we found wait staff to be a mixed bag - sometimes they’d be lost and you’re trying to waive down a waiter or beach attendee, other times they’re borderline harassing you to make sure things are ok. If you have a vehicle, I highly recommend booking activities outside of the resort as they jack up the prices. $200 a head for an atv trip through the hotel, when I paid $90 a person on our own. I highly recommend the sunset cruise! But again, book directly through Mystic Man and save some dough. My final point is in the room decor - it’s rather simple and everything is white! Paying prices on par with the Four Seasons, I found the rooms to be too boring and missing the attention to detail to put them over the top that you’d expect at these prices.
