We had a lovely two night stay at this very welcoming and ideally located hotel. In the heart of the Old Town and less than 25 minutes from the airport, we found it a good choice.|We travelled by bus to the hotel initially for €1.5 but on the way back arranged a taxi through the hotel just to make it easier and to give us the whole morning free - €28.|Hotel location is incredible - easy walking distance to everything. |We opted for a deluxe king room which was lovely. Our room had 3 large double windows and overlooked the park. The toilet is completely seperate to the sink and shower. The shower was large and the towels were large and lovely and fluffy. Bed was very comfortable. If I was being really picky - and bearing in mind this is a 5 star hotel - I do think that the rooms could do with a bit of an update, although the bathroom was very modern and clean but there were a few paint scuffs here and there. |Central areas were excellent. The reception staff were polite and friendly and extremely welcoming. The bar area was spotlessly clean and had good service. The hot chocolate from the bar is highly recommended.|The breakfast was well stocked and I was pleased to see a good range of gluten free options kept completely seperate to gluten containing items. Freshly cooked omelettes were very good. I would say the cooked items could have been hotter - they were definitely on the lukewarm side.|Overall we were very pleased with our choice and would recommend.

Hotel is in a great location from old town and shops etc. The 3rd floor room we had was well equipped, fridge, coffee machine, safe etc and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped in places to eat and things to do. We will stay again on return to Riga.|Only negative was the swimming pool was cold and the sauna facilities out of use during our stay.|
