We are nearing the end of our 5-week trip through the Balkan countries, following our work in Germany. So far, the Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos stands out as the best of them all. We were pleasantly surprised as our room was upgraded to a suite with spacious working desks and separate bathrooms on both floors. The breakfast was superb, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The entire staff was incredibly kind and courteous. Montenegro, a serene, safe, and stunningly beautiful country, exceeded our expectations. The seafood here is truly second to none. I'll be back, Montenegro!

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL: The location for this hotel is stunning and the rooms are excellent. However, I suffered food poisoning at the hotel and their resolution for this was pathetic having lost 11 days of a 14 night holiday! The food poisoning was shigellosis confirmed on my return by my doctor after a sample was taken. For a hotel of nearly £7000 to have this happen is ridiculous it’s basic food preparation. The one start service is in regards to the complaint and not the staff in general as they were overall excellent. But they’ve ignored emails to resolve this before legal action is taken due to the loss of so many days due to the food poisoning.
