I recently visited the hotel and booked a private over the water, villa, facing the sunset, and was very excited to visit the resort and spend quality time. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service with a warm welcoming. When we arrived at the hotel they went over and beyond to provide us with whatever necessary requirements we requested in terms of food. However, the major downside that had a huge impact on the entire trip and the reason why I’m giving it a low rating is i booked a villa with a king size bed, and laying on the bed felt very uncomfortable It felt like there was some thing hard in the middle of the bed that made it very uncomfortable and impacted the quality of my sleep. Later on, I decided to pull up the bedsheets to see what was bothering me only to find that the bed I was sleeping on was not a king bed however, it was two single beds connected with each other, and filling the gap between them with hard pillows, which ruined the entire experience for me and forfeited the purpose of well-being. I passed the message to the manager of the hotel, and the only thing I got from the was an apology which does not compensate for how awful the experience was and how it ruined the goal of my entire trip. I felt that I have been cheated for what I requested and paid.
