We came here for a friend's wedding this past week that was being held at the resort. The private beach is gorgeous and worth every penny. I will say the same for the daily lunch and breakfast buffets as well. HOWEVER, what occurred on the night of the wedding and the absolute lack of respect and consideration of hotel management is INEXCUSABLE. The wedding reception was held outdoors at one of the pool locations that made for a potentially peaceful and romantic ambience, as the beach waves were right beyond us as well. However by 8PM, the loud construction that was going on outdoors for one of the unfinished resort towers right above the reception area was STILL HAPPENING, and disrupted the best man and parent speeches given to the bride and groom. It was so utterly disrespectful, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. For this alone, I just want to say SHAME ON Hyatt Ziva hotel management for being so blinded by the need to finish some construction project, that it upended what was otherwise a lovely night we had at our friend's wedding. Thankfully, we had some drinks and good dancing to help us forget how disturbed we were by the lack of respect and overwhelming commotion.

Our family spent a week of July 15th-22nd 2023 in this amazing all-inclusive resort. We had booked 2 rooms and ERICK at the reception desk was able to accommodate our request to be on the same floor next to each other. Our rooms 1503 and 1504 in the Main Tower were newly renovated, with a breathtaking ocean view. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean with comfortable beds and AC working great. Our amazing maid PATRICIA did a wonderful job keeping rooms super clean! We had towels and bedsheets changed every day, mini fridge restocked daily as well. The food and service at the buffet and restaurants also exceeded the expectation! Thank you VANESSA and EDDIE for your service at the Vivaz buffet! Unfortunately, I can't remember all the names, but I'm grateful to each and every employee of this resort who made our stay so memorable and perfect. By the way, it's super easy to make a restaurant reservation for dinner in the front lobby. Everyone is working really hard in this hotel. Many thanks to RAMON from the beach bar! Great service and delicious drinks, our favorite - Strawberry rum margaritas! Now, the OCEAN! The natural views are the best part of this resort. The Pacific ocean can be rough, but this beach is great. It is swimmable in the summer for sure. We stayed in the ocean all the time, had green flag days, yellow flag and red flag days. We were able to ride the waves (including our 12 year old child) each day, no matter the flag. You might get some kelp occasionally, but it clears very quickly due to the dynamics of the ocean. We also didn't encounter any wildlife in the ocean, it felt very safe. It looks like they have a net that keeps marine life away. However, the turtles do come to the beach to lay eggs. We noticed that most people prefer to stay in the swimming pool area, but we're beach goers so it was very important to have a good swimmable beach and this resort did not disappoint. As we were leaving for the airport after our stay, one of the resort managers came up to inquire if we enjoyed our stay and to wish us safe travels home. I can't remember her name, but I want to express my gratitude for making us feel special and important. Overall, our family stay was just perfect and we don't have a single complaint, only pure gratitude to every single hardworking employee of this resort. We'll definitely recommend it to our friends and anyone who is looking for a relaxing classy vacation.
