We had a casita with plunge pool - TONS of mosquitoes! No see ums, got dozens of bites on head and neck, so hardly used the plunge pool. The deck was lovely though. Lots of mosquitoes at hot tub in spa also. We used lots of repellent. ||No handrails on stairs or at the pools. Floating stairways with nothing to indicate top stair and unlit bottom stairs. I tripped on the unlit bottom stair leading to the bathroom closest to he beach. Sprained wrist and hit my head. ||For what they charge, I was disappointed by the nickel and diming. They did have free coffee service delivered to the rooms. I asked if I could get hot chocolate and the answer was yes for an extra charge. Drinks are $25 each but no chips or nuts. No biscuits with the $15 coffee or with turndown service. ||Yes, grounds, rooms and food are lovely. But I didn’t feel it was good value for what we paid and compared to Asia or the Caribbean.
