What a beautiful and awesome hotel. I have to say I was dubious about the all-inclusive drinks, but it was true. Every day there is a wine and cheese. Also, cookies and chocolate. The hotel is beautiful with a wonderful location. You need to walk about 15-20 minutes to most attractions. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. |The breakfasts are delicious, and the chef Alfonse pleasant and hard working. The room itself was clean and cozy, and I had a view of the canal.|You can't go wrong with this hotel. Highly recommend.

The Banks Mansion was a nice place to stay. The location was excellent, right on the canal and near shopping, easy walking to everything. We were able to get two rooms next to one another, although not connecting. The beds were very very very comfortable. The free breakfasts were yummy with made-to-order omelets, fresh OJ, and a cappuccino machine; plenty of seating. It was nice that the minibar items were included. Enjoyed the bathrobes and it was nice they provided an umbrella in each room given the rainy weather. We skipped the evening wine and snacks after seeing other people handling the cheese and crackers, but the idea is nice. On the downside, the décor was dated, the rooms were tidy but could have been cleaner and could also use some more lighting, and there were very few outlets to use.
