Le Méridien City Center, Doha

This was my first trip to Doha ever, so I chose a hotel with a good location. Le Meridien ticked all the boxes: good location, good rate, good name. The check-in process was very smooth, and I was given room no.1703 on the 17th floor. The view of the room was okay, and the room was clean and the beds were comfy. Here are the things I did not like about the hotel:||1. You could not control the room temperature. At first it was too cold, I changed the setting but nothing happened, so I had to report the problem to reception. When I came back it was too hot, I had to sleep in a very warm room until I reported it again to reception.||2. The bathroom has a bathtub and I am not a fan of bathtubs. It is very narrow so it is very difficult to enjoy your shower in it.||3. The shattaf (device Muslims use after using the toilet) is placed on the left. Since most people are right handed, this device should be on the right of the toilet and not left.||4. The City Centre is not connected to the hotel. You have to walk across the road and enter another hotel and use the lifts to access the mall. Moreover, the mall is quite old and is not as good as the new malls in Doha.||Overall, my stay was okay, however I would definitely stay somewhere else.
