A great place. Boca Olas is a beautiful property with great staff & location. There are things to do & great food within the property- the 3 pools, pool & ping pong table were so much fun and well tended to. The property was extremely clean too! There are outdoor bathrooms and showers that were convenient. Staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is also so much to explore just minutes away. We were able to walk on the boardwalk (still under construction) to get to multiple restaurants, the beach, and shops. Here there was plenty to fill your days- surf lessons, horseback riding, shopping, eating. If you drive minutes away there are more shops and food stands. The area is still being developed and in a few months there will be so much more to see & do. 10/10 recommended Boca Olas for families and couples.

Our group of 3 families (7 adults, 2 kids) stayed in the main house. There was plenty of space. The bedrooms and living space were spacious. There was a kitchen and outdoor patio. Outside of the house, the resort is well maintained. The pools are nice and mostly clean. One of them has a swim up bar. The hotel restaurant’s food and drinks are good. The resort is an easy walk to the beach and the small town of El Tunco. Cons - shower pressure wasn’t great - only provided 1 house key for the group - wait time for food is long - no jacuzzi - WiFi inside the house was bad
