Let me start by saying I absolutely love this hotel, the customer service and cleanliness were great. So I’ll explain the reason for the low rating: 1.) No hot water - My sister and I both had rooms on the same floor and neither of our showers got hot. Since it was both rooms I assumed it was just a floor issue and maybe it had been communicated prior to my arrival. 2.) Heat barely kicked out. Had to go all the way up to 80 just to feel warm air. 3.) I was double charged for one of my rooms. Other than that everything was Stellar! Thanks for great service during my stay

Check-in was quick and simple, except for the fact that Hilton charged us for two rooms. The lady behind the counter (Nikki) was very helpful and said she’d make that right, easily. She was very welcoming and had a great smile and attitude; great customer relations. We were given a convenient room right off the elevator. Because there are four of us in a king suite with a sofa bed, we needed to sleep the kids on the sofa. However, there were no linens. I sent my oldest to grab some. Nikki helped him out and he was back in no time. Took the kids to the pool. Water was very cold and there were no towels available. However, Nikki came in to deliver some to each guest after receiving a complaint from another guest. Afterward, we headed back to the room to rinse off. There was no lotion or conditioner in the bathroom. That was unusual. Then, upon running the water for 5+ minutes, saw that the water would not get hot. At its highest setting, warm was the best we’d get, so I tried phoning Nikki from our room. If you use the “front desk” prompt on the room phone, it checks the room’s messages instead. Again, I had to walk downstairs to the front desk and see how Nikki could remedy this situation. She apologized and offered us a room change, but upon walking into that room and running the shower, the same issued applied. Nikki offered points be added to our HH account for the inconvenience, so I chose to stay in our current room and just turn up the heat to the room. There was trash left over on top of the closet from a previous guest. I ordered food delivery and went to grab forks for the four of us to eat, but there were only 2 available in the kitchen drawer (but there were 4 spoons and 6 of everything else, so that didn’t make sense). Next, I searched for a corkscrew in the drawers to open my bottle of wine- None. I went to Nikki at the front desk- None in the whole hotel. I stay at Home 2 Suites A LOT. This is the first time I’ve been to one without a wine opener. I was shocked. I even got the kids in the car and we drove to nearby BP and 7-11 (which sells wine), but neither sold a corkscrew. I gave up and headed back to the hotel. Needless to say, wine was no longer on the menu for tonight. Around 1 am, there was a lot of foot traffic and voices and doors closing above our room. Tough to sleep. I’m not a complainer. Usually I’m the person to leave a review when things are great and ignore the bad stays/experiences. However, there was so much that compounded this stay, that a review was necessary. The only reason why I didn’t give it 1 star was due to Nikki and a clean bed.
