This hotel is extremely busy. The pic I attached was taken overnight during a slower time. This hotel hosts tons of conventions, there were back to back conventions every day the week we stayed. I had some packages delivered to this hotel, and tried to call multiple times to just have the automated phone system send me in circles without talking to a human, before completely disconnecting me multiple times, so I tried using the message feature on the app, which simply turned into generic canned answers and not anyone who actually cared to check on anything. I was put in the older part of the hotel, the rooms are not great, and seem older compared to the rest of the hotel. The exercise/gym has much to be desired. The media bar & grill was tremendously packed every night. However the brisket potato soup is to die for. Lobby/atrium area is nice. $2k+ for 5 nights wasn’t worth it in my opinion. $30per day parking. Here for a few more nights and just hoping it’s not as slammed full as it has been.

This hotel resort is outdated but looked nice until we got to the room. Our bed was comfy but the room itself smelled like cat pee. Upon checkout, we were charged an extra $27 “mandatory resort fee” that was not listed when I made the reservation online through AAA. Found out the hard way, it is listed in the fine print so they can be sneaky and charge you for hidden fees you were not expecting instead of just adding it to the listed breakdown upon booking. When I called to clarify what the charge is for, they say they require it to use their gym, the spa and water club in the summer (but it’s winter). So if we don’t use any of that, can we get our money back lol? The real issue is not the fee, but the fact that they were sneaky about it and added it to the final invoice AFTER checkout and choose to hide this info in a drop-down menu on any booking websites. We requested a late checkout, they mentioned they charge for people who are not Hilton honors members and I am a member but because I booked the hotel through AAA they still were not willing to offer a complimentary checkout. Also, we were asleep and housekeeping came in our door at about 9:40am! We felt rushed to checkout. Regular Check out isn’t until 11 so I’m not sure which she took it upon herself to enter the room. You also have to pay for $30 for parking and the generic water bottles in the room are $4. It was especially frustrating that we had stayed at a nice Marriott hotel the night before that was significantly less and included free parking, free late checkout, free water bottles and it was so clean! If you’re a hotel or resort that’s going to be charging for everything, it needs to be a well maintained room and overall good experience but this was not it!
