This Ritz Carlton fell absolutely flat for me. I have never experienced a bed at a Ritz as bad as these. The sheets were not soft and were extremely loud to the point that any movement would wake my spouse and I up respectively. The mattress topper on the queen bed was for a full size mattress and left the edges exposed. There was no warning that the spa facilities were under construction so we were unable to access the sauna/steam room as well as the indoor pool and the spa adult only pool. The temporary spa was set up in a wing of the 2nd floor and they just flipped beds vertical and put items on the support joists of the bed trying to disguise them as bookshelves. For the price of the spa treatments, I would have expected more effort in the environment. The housekeeping services did not fully restock our room and would take and not replace robes. The surrounding area is quite remote and there are no Ubers allowed to pick up from the hotel which is very frustrating as someone who did not think to rent a car. The service, however, was the only saving grace. Absolutely phenomenal with no notes. Shea in the lobby bar remembered our drink orders and easily accommodated dietary restrictions and was beyond kind and hospitable. Justin in the spa performed one of the best massages I have had in the States. Musical bingo night with Trivia30 was a delightful time but we did wish they had done the full 9 rounds instead of calling it quits at 5 rounds because the restaurant was not at capacity. Overall, I would not seek to return to this Ritz and cannot recommend the stay. If you are local to the area, I would recommend a day trip to experience the service at one of the restaurants or a trip to the spa when the rehab is complete.
