Booked a room here to be able to walk to the stadium to see the Red Sox play. The ladies at check-in were friendly, provided lots of information, and very professional. Room was clean and bed comfortable. It looked like there was an error message on thermostat, so let front desk know and the general manager visited room immediately, troubleshot the unit and ensured it was working properly. It cooled down fine for a warm summer day. Appreciate the GM taking care of us. Didn't have a meal there but visited the bar after the game. Bar Tender was a charming lady and made delicious cocktails. Nice hotel with a stellar staff!

The location is ideal for one of the sports complexes, and police were on the scene to help cross the busy intersection on the day of Chiefs game. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It's an older hotel so our room had a smaller bathroom/sink plus a few maintenance opportunities. First, the toilet would randomly run and it appeared slightly wet on the ground around it. To drown out the sounds, we closed the bathroom door. The old knob went from very difficult to turn to not allowing us to get back into the bathroom. Of course, this happens at 11pm at night and the front desk staff made a reasonable attempt to get us help, but no one was reachable. When I spoke to management at 7:30am, it was very quickly attended to and re-opened. They verified the knob works from inside the bathroom (I guess one should not close doors to unoccupied bathrooms). Maintenance committed to relooking at both problems once we checked out. Net, older hotel = more maintenance opportunities = staff is committed to making it great place to stay. My one complaint about cleanliness is the carpet in the room has to be shampooed. It left the bottom of my feet quite dark from walking on it for just a few minutes. Breakfast was great! It's been years since I ate French toast and enjoyed theirs.
