If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am absolutely shocked that this hotel obtained a 4.3 star rating. I am a Hilton Honors member and will never stay at a Hilton again after this experience. I compel anyone considering a stay at this location to thoroughly read and review the poor reviews, because they are synonymous with the experience that we had. Where to even begin? We came here for the Adam Sandler show at the FedEx forum, unsurprisingly-due to this event, the price of our stay was significantly high. Approximately $800 for 3 nights, including the $32/night for valet. After a 6 hour drive from our hometown, we pulled up to the front, where valet is located. The employees that work in valet do not step outside when a vehicle arrives in the area. They sit on their phones on the couch indoors. I am still struggling to understand why this hotel (at their price) does not simply greet their patrons, but the stay just got progressively worse from here, so I’m not shocked. We checked in at the front desk and headed to our room. The “comforter” was actually a duvet cover with nothing in it, had the texture of a hospital blanket, and there was black fuzz all over the bed, from head to toe, throughout the sheets. We were exhausted from our drive and let it go. Well night #2, we found a dirty wash cloth, various jewelry (not ours), and stains. This hotel is DIRTY! Due to the lack of hospitality from guest services at the actual location, I contacted corporate. Who then made a conference call between himself, myself, and the supervisor of the hotel that works at the front desk-Felicia. I struggled to understand how Felicia received a supervisor position after our conversation. My boyfriend proposed to me during our stay, which the front desk was aware of because he asked if they could do something special to our room and even offered to pay extra for (which they did not do anything, after saying they would). Felicia told me that we could not be refunded for night 3, which we planned to stay elsewhere due to the lack of cleanliness, hospitality, etc, and said our only option was to get a room with two twin beds if we didn’t like our bed. She then informed me she was busy and hung up the phone on me. Seriously, what a horrific experience. This was a “4 star” hotel with 1 star MOTEL qualities. We received better customer service at the local Memphis super Walmart. Better hospitality at some dive bar off of Beale St. Warning to all readers, do NOT waste your money here!

We requested bedding for the sofa bed in our suite 4x over the course of a day and it never arrived. I called down at 11:30 or so because I needed to make the bed and they made me come down and then gave me unfolded top sheets. I asked for a pillow and blanket and was told they didn’t have any. After a half hour they “found” a pillow (still no blanket) and acted like they were doing me a favor. I went down the next day to let the manager know. He was apologetic and told me to put the complaint in writing and email him. He also told us our room would be cleaned around 1 that after noon once we were out and they would bring up bedding. When we got back at 5 they had just started cleaning the room and we needed to wait to get ready for dinner- but at least I could make the sofa bed. At 5am the next morning the fire alarm went off forcing an evacuation of the entire hotel. I know it’s not their fault but seriously? The next morning we asked for extra towels and when they hadn’t arrived an hour later I went down to the front desk to ask again and was told by the front desk attendant that were waiting for them to be done in the dryer. Is this entire hotel operating off one spare load of towels? I asked the front desk for a recommendation for a boutique so I could look for a pair of boots to wear that night. They told me there was nothing around and advised me to take an Uber to Nordstrom rack in the Memphis suburbs. $40 in Uber fares later, I got my boots. Later the next day I found a boutique less than 10 minutes walking distance away (stock and belle) that was lovely and had many options. How does the front desk not refer me there? It truly boggles my mind. Finally, it took the hotel “restaurant” (greyhound) almost 2 hours to get my friend the fries she ordered while she sat at the bar. I’ve traveled extensively and this is literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Do NOT book this hotel. Literally any other option would be better. Hilton should be ashamed.
