I needed to stay as an emergency! Upon an arrival, there was an unwelcoming sign stating NO PETS, NO PARTIES, NO LIQUOR, NO CELEBRATIONS ! Basically, no vacationing! Hotels are supposed to be fun or relaxing ! The staff seems to have wrong idea! This hotel has no theme ! I’ve stayed here before but it definitely has gone to the waist side. I from in town and I would recommend this only for the indoor pool. Also , apparently they are strict on that as well! Last visit for me !!! Also, they distributed toilet paper and towels like we were prisoners!! I should not have to call for sheets, towels, toilet paper. Also , some of the housekeepers don’t speak English and she refused to clean my bathroom/bathtub. I am disabled. This hotel needs a revamp!!! ! As I went to the lobby to complain, there was a line of people waiting to check in. I waited patiently, then I finally was able to try to resolve some issues. I then discovered that I was unaware of the credit my diamond status awarded me credits for free meals . The manager refused to accommodate for the missed, unused meals although no one mentioned the perk at check in. She said it was my responsibility. I now understand why the bar and restaurant stayed empty the whole week. As I went to the empty bar, the Spanish speaking bartender blasted Spanish music . He turned it up to out drown our conversation. We were 3 of 5 people in the bar . We couldn’t have any conversations . Also, the waiter asked if we wanted our food to go, not for here or to go. We had clothes on, trying to sit comfortable, but felt like he accommodated himself and two other staff members. My family speaks ENGLISH!!! This is a Saturday night in a bar and he didn’t offer any drinks. No patrons ! As a if that wasn’t enough, I witnessed the “night manager “ Tamiyah run a family that booked two hotel rooms out of the kitchen while they served ice cream and cake to a small group of 7 year olds!!!’ She rudely began to spray some cleaning solution on the table while the children were still eating. Then consequently turned off the lights. The dining room and bar remained empty! Hilton needs to start fire folks . As I type , the staff are the only occupants of the bar

Stayed there for nye and by far this is the dirtiest room I have had in 30 years of business travel. Discarded food and wrappers on the floor and toilet paper stuck to the restroom wall. Hard to believe the cleaning staff can miss this. When I bought this to the attention of the general manager on staff, he laughed it off and made me a disrespectful offer for the inconvenience, he also reminded me that I am no longer a Hilton diamond member so I guess that means us low status customers are nobody’s I guess. Kinda shocked me that he bought that up in our conversation.|Good bye oak lawn Hilton, you have lost my business and hopefully anyone else who reads this. There much better Hilton property’s to stay at in the area.
