It's pretty good overall. The lobby is very nice and all of the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We got a high floor corner suite with the theme park view for 3 days. The view was great but the room was alot smaller and underwhelming then we thought it should be for a premium option. It felt like a very small regular room, just on a higher floor. The bed felt like a cheap spring mattress with a padded mattress cover. We had to move furniture out of the way just to be able to move around. The room just feels well overdue for a good refresh in our opinion. The pool was nice and was open later in the evening. The drug store vending machines are really convenient. Our family loved the fish and turtle pond on the back side of the property. The included breakfast was some trickery you'd expect from a motel 6, not a Hilton. Once you pay for the sneaky and expensive breakfast "upgrade", then you get warm, very wet scrambled eggs and other disappointing buffet fare. We didn't dare do the breakfast again after we learned our lesson. The room service dinners we got later on were very good.

This is the best hotel to stay at if you're going to Universal Studios, otherwise skip it. I don't know why people are having events at this location. You'll be thrilled to death, If you can get a floor with a view of the park. It's awesome but very expensive. The single bus service that goes to the park is an absolute joke. It only holds about 30 something people and stops at the Sheraton before it stops at the Hilton, so it's full! You more than likely won't be able to ride the bus unless it's for the ride back. The other issue is that it drops you off at the midway point of CityWalk which is the shopping area on the side of the park so you might as well just walk. The walking route that they left for the customers is also a joke! You have to walk around the entire complex to the place where you started in order to go over the walking bridge to the park. To make it even worse, the Hilton forces you out of the building and outside in the heat with no shade to walk around the complex! You could walk through the building but they block the hallways! There's signs saying there are events but there weren't any events. This has happened to us on 2 different trips. We were so mad. When you get to the end of the driveway, you'll see that they didn't bother to install a sidewalk so try not to get hit. They could use some of the over-priced room money to build a small bridge out of the back of the building. That would save customers about a 1/4 mile or more of walking each way. The fancy bar is the Five on the Hill. It's literally in the driveway of the hotel. This place is just a wood deck with a tent roof, tables, and chairs. It's awful. They don't have a bar or a kitchen. Everything you order has to be walked out to you from the bar and kitchen inside the hotel. No thanks.
