Crowne Plaza Virginia Beach Town Center, an IHG Hotel

Room has clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and stocked with all that you would expect. Plenty of clean towels and good lighting. Being that this property was under renovation (which was identified on my initial reservation) the extent of the impact ot customers was not identified. Returning from a long day at work, parking was a challenge since the front parking lot was occupied with contractor vehicles as well as trailers and storage containers of what must have been the materials for the work. As far as being able to log on to the WI-FI and complete any necessary work since I was traveling from out of state....this was a no go. WI-FI was spotty at best. In my room, I could not connect at all. In the lobby, I could get connected, but not for more than 6-10 minute at a time. I had to go to the nearest coffee shop to log onto a reliable WI-FI connection. This was extremely inconvenient. I checked with the from desk, they gave me a phone number to call and ask for help. The help that was available was how to connect, not to improve the signal in order to stay connected. The friendly desk clerk stated she would add extra points to my account for my inconvenience. None have showed up as of this writing. Overall, if you need a room to sleep & shower, this will work. If you are looking for a room to catch up on any business using a WI-FI connection, this will not work.
