*This is for RCI Members especially* TLDR: run. Also not truly a smoke free property as listed. When booking, I assumed a Silver Crown property would be a solid choice. We knew it would be dated, from the photos, but this "resort" is the worst property we have ever stayed in. We are currently here in the unit but I could not wait to write my review. We are trying to make the best of it since neither RCI or Four Sails will help us, but we will likely leave early bc it’s just so bleak. When we checked in the Supervisor (I believe his name is Brian) was a true angel on earth. One million stars for him. We walked into our "suite", and it smelled terrible and is completely run down. We went back down and Brian offered to put us in the exact same room on the other side of the building- we checked it out, and while the smell was slightly better, the bedroom was open to even more traffic than our original room, so we decided to stay and spray lysol everywhere. Brian sent housekeeping up the next day and we had the kind woman wash the balcony window and the tub which both looked gross. Living room is facing the beach which is wonderful in theory, but the balcony is covered in mold and stains, with some plastic chairs with various dirt and mold. There were cigarette butts and ash which we cleaned ourselves, but we aren't using the balcony as it's so gross and depressing. The bedroom faces loud traffic, with a thin spring mattress similar to what I've slept on in hostels. It's very uncomfortable and the noise all night makes it hard to sleep at night. We've been here 3 nights and haven't slept through the night once. All of the furniture is dingy and chipped, metal fixtures are rusted. The couch sinks super deep in the center as well as being dingy and stained.The doors are warped. Flaws and cracks are hastily painted over. The blinds are all dirty/dusty and bent/on the verge of breaking. The "jacuzzi tub", which was one of the main reasons we booked this "resort", is super dingy and the faucet has a consistent leak. The housekeeper did clean it as I said, which we appreciated. We tried the tub that night- upon starting the jets, the water filled with various debris- lots of small black hairs (yep), dust balls and white stuff that looked like paint or drywall. Absolutely disgusting, we jumped out and will certainly not try it again. I'm out of characters but wanted to be as detailed as possible. Do not book here esp through RCI (who I contacted and was no help). Maybe there are nice "suites" somewhere in this building, but RCI members don't have access to them.
