On a boardwalk full of nice hotels, this hotel marketed itself as recently renovated which we thought would be a plus. When we arrived late in the evening, the interior was clean, but it looked old and shabby. The pool was drained despite the neighboring pool being active and the weather being in the 80's. It smelled strongly of pot and bad air freshener. Comparing to the pictures online, you can see that the beach-facing property does not match the advertisement. It is no longer the brightly colored decks. However, the big issue is that the bedrooms have no windows. The photos of the street-facing side of the building show turquoise "blocks" that were either doors or windows that would have let light into the bedrooms. By boarding these spaces up, the bedrooms have no light. Who would pay for a shabby hotel with windowless bedrooms when for an extra $10 or $20/night they can stay at one of the nicer hotels a few blocks north? I've also attached a photo of the neighboring 24-hour hotel from the parking lot. There are plenty of better hotels in this price range. It isn't a good value and quite frankly it didn't feel safe or well-maintained.

One of the best ocean front hotels I’ve ever stayed at. My room was squeaky clean upon arrival and front desk was extremely helpful, kind and patient. Nice view of the ocean and great shops and restaurants literally right across the street. If you feel bored late at night, they have great shops across the street and if you’re feeling hungry, they have great pizza at sunrise pizzeria also directly across the street. Has a stove that comes with pots and pans. Highly recommend and think it’s another extremely underrated hotel.
