The percent-off codes people hunt for exist inside some of these windows — recent real examples ran 20–25% off base fares — but they're announced by JetBlue, valid for 1–3 days, and often travel-restricted (one recent code covered Tuesday/Wednesday flying only). A code you find on a coupon site months later is dead by definition.

Practical consequence: subscribe to JetBlue's email and watch jetblue.com/sale — being reachable when the 48-hour window opens is the entire game.

Who gets a standing discount

• Active-duty US military: 5% off all fares plus two free checked bags (five at higher weights on duty travel), with a DOD Common Access Card.
• Veterans: the same 5% — but only through the paid WeSalute+ membership and booked by contacting JetBlue, a caveat every coupon page omits.
• No senior discount and no student discount exist — and "JetBlue senior discount, call to book" results are scam bait.

The structural saver for everyone else is TrueBlue: points never expire, and pooling lets up to seven friends/family combine points — the family-travel mechanism most US programs lack. • Base is the trap tier: paid or auto-assigned seats, and change/cancellation fees (credit-only refunds). Standard adds seats and free changes; Flex adds cash refundability.
• Checked bags price by date: JetBlue publishes peak/off-peak bag-fee calendars, and adding bags at least 24 hours before departure is cheaper than at check-in.
