Choose Quieter Times. If you go skiing during less busy times, not only will you save some money, but you'll also have more space and quiet to enjoy the slopes and the scenery.
Bring Some Food. Mountain-side restaurants are pricey, so pack a lunch and some snacks. It's normal at guesthouses to make an extra sandwich at breakfast to take with you. A friend mentioned that the last time they went skiing, they found an affordable restaurant where all those handmade sandwiches were left in the backpack. It's better this way than the reverse.
Rent or Buy Used Gear. Don't buy new ski equipment! You don’t need to have everything. If you haven’t heard, you can rent gear at the resort or purchase second-hand. This saves money and luggage space since winter clothes are bulky enough.
Visit Lesser-Known Resorts. Find smaller ski areas. They can be just as lovely as the popular ones but with a friendlier price and atmosphere. Yes, it takes time to find the hidden gem so go to discord, facebook groups and do not hesitate asking!
