Barbados is an island nation in the eastern Caribbean that is known for its pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and coral reefs. The island is a popular tourist destination, with a range of attractions and activities to enjoy. Some popular activities in Barbados include snorkeling and diving in the coral reefs, visiting historic plantation houses, touring Harrison's Cave, a massive underground limestone cave system, and exploring the island's botanical gardens.
Barbados is also known for its food and drink, with a range of local dishes and beverages to try. Some popular local dishes include flying fish and cou-cou, a mixture of cornmeal and okra, and local beverages include rum and Mauby, a drink made from the bark of the Mauby tree.
St. Lucia
St. Lucia is another Caribbean island known for its rugged, mountainous landscape and stunning beaches. Unsurprisingly, popular activities in St. Lucia include hiking and climbing the Pitons, a pair of conical volcanic spires that are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting the Soufrière, a dormant volcano that is home to the world's only drive-in volcano, and exploring the island's rainforests and waterfalls.
