#1 The Walking Dead

The TV series "The Walking Dead" is filmed around the US states. And any fan should definitely visit at least one of those locations. 

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center (Atlanta) - location in Season 1. If you recall, the survivors attempt to reach the Center of Disease Control here. In the show, the CDC was responsible for protecting people's health and safety but had been overrun by zombies. The survivors show up to find refuge within the center, but some unfortunate events occur. 

As you look around the filming place, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta has many ongoing shows, concerts, and events to attend. 

Jackson Street Bridge (Atlanta) - another location where probably one of the most iconic shots was taken. Do you remember Rick Grimes riding his horse alone on a highway toward Atlanta in the pilot episode? Luckily for you, the Jackson Street Bridge in Atlanta overlooks the exact spot and gives a perfect opportunity for a photo. 

Elders Mill (Senoia) - when Hershel’s farm is destroyed in Season 2 of The Walking Dead, the survivors make camp by a waterfall. This place is located at Elder Mills Road Waterfall and Campsite. It costs $10 to tour the property, or you can take in the views from the road. 

Driftwood Beach (Jekyll Island) - not that this place has one of the gorgeous beaches in the US, but The Walking Dead has some scenes filmed there too. Driftwood Beach is first seen on the show when Tara washes up on its sand and is taken to the Oceanside community. In a later season, there is also a scene where zombies wade onto shore from a shipwreck, and a fight occurs between them and the people on the beach.

With the driftwood trees lining the shoreline, Driftwood Beach is the perfect place to visit and explore. It’s an excellent backdrop for photos and possibly even for recreating a scene from “The Walking Dead”!

#2 House Of The Dragon

The prequel to “Game of Thrones” caught movie fanatics' attention because of the stunning places in each season. So those are a few worth your attention and visit. 

Cáceres (Spain) - “King's Landing in all its glory.” This old town, used as a trade route in the 15th and 16th centuries, is located in Extremadura, an autonomous community lying southwest of the Iberian Peninsula. Popularly known for its magnificent towers, including the Bujaco and Yerba. The city served perfectly for this shot. 

Derbyshire (England) - if you're a fan of “Game of Thrones,” you must've noticed this place. Nestled on the lofty peaks of Derbyshire is the village of Castleton, which has been used as the filming location for The Vale of Arryn in the show. Yes, the same castle was shown as one where enemies can be pushed through the moon door to die.

Also, Cave Dale, Eldon Hill Quarry, and Market Place are one of the prime shooting locations in “House of the Dragon." Reaching this place via London is absolutely hassle-free. 

Surrey and Hampshire (England) - no one can miss out on this location where the unforgettable tournament took place in the first episode of “House of Dragon.” Surrey is hardly an hour’s distance from London via bus, taxi, or train.

Monsanto (Portugal) - in reality, House Targaryen’s ancestral home, Dragonstone, is this town at the center of Portugal — Monsanto, meaning “Holy Mountain.” 

Located in the countryside of Beira Baixa, it is around 25 km from the Spanish border. You can even stay there! 

#3 Yellowstone

If you're like the rest of us, you're desperately passing the days while waiting for season 5 of "Yellowstone." One thing you can do is plan a much-needed vacation. And here's the perfect opportunity for you to combine your love to travel and "Yellowstone": a stay at the real-life ranch where the Kevin Costner-led Paramount series is filmed.

There are only two cabins, The Fisherman Cabin (aka Lee Dutton's cabin) and The Ben Cook Cabin (aka Rip's cabin—Rip's in season 1 and Kayce's cabin in season 2), available to rent. Each cabin sleeps a maximum of eight guests. Cabins are only available for rent when the series is not filming at the ranch.

Minimum stay duration: 3 nights

The guest cabins are typically only available to book between March and the first week of January. However, dates book up quickly between filming "Yellowstone" and accommodating guests. 

#4 The Crown

As much as it would be awesome to be able to visit real locations to recreate Queen Elizabeth II life, “The Crown” shooting took places as similar as the directors could have found. And if you're a real fan - pay a visit. 

Ardverikie Estate stood in for Balmoral Castle. This place stands for Queen Elizabeth's beloved Scottish retreat, Balmoral Castle, in seasons one, two, four, and five. If you choose to visit, consider staying in holiday cottages on the property. 

Waddesdon Manor stood in for the Ritz Paris. Season five of The Crown features Mohamed Al Fayed's purchase of the Ritz Paris; this French Renaissance-style châteauin the English countryside was used to film the interiors. 

The Coliseum Theatre stands in for the Dominion Theatre. Imelda Staunton was pictured filming at the Coliseum theatre in London's West End, recreating the 1995 Royal Variety Performance at the Dominion Theatre.

Season five was filmed in San Telmo, Mallorca, Spain. For season five, Elizabeth Debecki (Princess Diana) and Dominic West (Prince Charles) were spotted filming in Mallorca, likely recreating holidays the royal couple took with their sons, Princes William and Harry.

If you decide to go to Mallorca, there will be plenty of hotel options - don't fall into the traps. Instead, get a fair hotel price without negotiating.
